Lecturer Position in Statistics

The Department of Statistics at the University of California, Davis, anticipates that funding for Pre-Six Lecturers to teach primarily lower-division courses of the department’s undergraduate curriculum may be available in the 2018-19 academic year.  The Department of Statistics would like to solicit applications to ensure the availability of qualified Pre-Six Lecturers should our course demand require us to offer additional classes. The courses to be taught may include introductory statistics as well as other lower and upper division undergraduate courses. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in statistics or a related field and have prior experience teaching statistics (preferably at the college/university level). Salary is commensurate with the candidate’s training and experience. These positions are covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
