Finals Week Study Spaces
Some spaces on campus have additional hours available during finals week. Learn about them on the Student Affairs website.
In addition to these spaces the Statistics Department has a small study lounge available Monday through Friday 8am-5pm in the Mathematical Sciences Building room 4110. :)

Summer Scholars Writing Academy
Advance your writing skills with fellow Affie writers this summer! UC Davis students can spend six weeks working with the Academic Assistance and Tutoring Center (AATC) experts and leveling up writing skills at the Summer Scholars Writing Academy. This in-person program is open to students is all majors and fields of study. The program is FREE, but space is limited.
Session I: June 23rd - July 28th
Session II: August 4th - September 8th
Register by June 15th for Session I or July 27th for Session II
- Program Outcomes:
- Acquire knowledge and tools to demonstrate communication skills in competitive job markets
- Build confidence to effectively express yourself in novel and challenging writing situation

UC Student and Policy Center (UCSPC) Events

- June 9: California Economic Forum (9:00 AM – 2:30 PM, UC Student and Policy Center):
This year’s forum, presented in partnership with POLITICO, features the release of the 2026 UCLA Anderson Economic Forecast, the premier independent economic analysis of California’s economy for over 75 years; two panel discussions with key leaders in California government and industry; and an engaging keynote fireside chat during lunch. With disruptive international events, federal policy shifts on tariffs and immigration, and the upcoming state budget deadline, the Economic Forum is a timely discussion of California’s economic outlook and the challenges shaping the year ahead.
