Mission Statement

We are committed to providing an inclusive environment and climate that makes every member of the Department and the graduate program, every visitor, and everyone we interact with feel safe, welcome and embraced. Diversity is valued by us as a core component of a rich academic life that enhances our research, scholarship, teaching, the academic experience for all our students, and it enriches the overall experience of our entire community.
