This track emphasizes statistical applications. It is recommended for students who are interested in applications of statistical techniques to various disciplines, especially the social sciences.
This track allows students to take some of their elective major courses in another subject area where statistics is applied. A list of pre-approved electives can be found here.

Domain Emphasis (9-12 units)
Three elective courses outside of Statistics:
The electives must be approved by the major advisor. Electives must follow a coherent sequence in one single disciple/domain where statistical methods and models are applied and must cover the quantitative aspects of the discipline. The electives must be upper division. You can view a list of pre-approved courses here. Any deviation from this list must be approved by the major advisor.
Total Units: 69-76
Major GPA Requirements
- Minimum 2.0 GPA in UC Davis courses used in the major.
- Minimum 2.0 GPA in Upper Division UC Davis courses used in the major.
