TITLE: " Gaussian Process Computing with Vecchia's Approximation and GpGp R Package "
ABSTRACT: Despite being around for more than 30 years, Vecchia's Gaussian process approximation has only recently gained widespread popularity. It is now emerging as a state-of-the-art approximation. I will briefly review some of our and others' work on the approximation before taking a tour of our implementation of Vecchia's approximation in the GpGp R package, including a demo analysis of CYGNSS satellite wind speed data.
