TITLE: "Casanova’s Lottery: The History of a Revolutionary Game of Chance"
ABSTRACT: The story of a unique French lottery (an ancestor of modern Lotto) that flourished from 1758 to 1836 is outlined, and some contributions to the theory of chance, including the Law of the Maturity of Chance, will be presented, as well as some other stories.
