Title: A Unified Approach to Inference based on Ranked Set Sampling and its variations
Abstract: In this talk, we will discuss the concept of ranked set sampling and present its different variations.
We will then present nonparametric techniques for estimating the underlying distribution function and subsequent inference for one- and two-sample problems. Asymptotic properties of the resulting estimators will be established. Results of a simulation study and an application will be provided.
