Statistics Major Modification Request

Please be as detailed as possible in your request.  If your request is in regards to substitute course(s) and/or elective(s), please include the course descriptions. You should also include how your requested change(s) will contribute to the goals of your major.  Your request will be evaluated by the faculty in the Department of Statistics and they will notify you of any updates regarding your request via e-mail.  E-mail stat-advising@ucdavis.edu if you have any questions. 

Please note that requests can only be approved if there is legitimate academic relevance to your Statistics major.  We cannot make major modifications based solely on personal preferences and plans (e.g. plans to graduate early, to go part time, to avoid a particular class, etc.).   We understand that some modifications may be necessary due to unforeseen circumstances which affect normal progression in the program (e.g. course offerings/cancellations, time conflicts, and other registration/scheduling issues). 

e.g. Applied Statistics Track
For students completing the Applied Track  (BS and AB):  
If your request relates to the electives for the Applied Track, please be sure to note all courses you plan to use in your request.  All elective courses must be cohesive and be related to the Statistics major and your academic goals.
